Paul K. Chu, DDS
Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Chu received his Bachelors of Science in Environmental Toxicology from the University of California at Davis. He received his Doctor of Dental Science Degree from the University of the Pacific’s Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. During dental school, he served as Class President and received multiple awards in pediatric outreach and organized dentistry.
He then completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Chu then completed his Pediatric Dental Residency training at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, NY. He served as Chief Resident at this Level I trauma center.
Dr. Chu is the Program Director of St. Barnabas Hospital’s Pediatric Dental residency program. He also serves as Vice President of the Medical Board of St. Barnabas Hospital. He is also a clinical attending at Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine, Jacobi Medical Center, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Chu also serves as consultant to the New York State Dental Board’s Committee on Dental Anesthesia. He is also a reviewer of research for the scientific journal, Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Chu is also Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and sits on the New York State Dental Board.
